The three projects the students will be participating in are:
This citizen science project collects and monitors reports of migratory dragonfly species across three countries. The students will learn how to identify the Pond Watch target species and will collect sighting data while in the field.
The students will learn how to identify a dragonfly swarm and why dragonflies swarm. They will look for swarms to report during the program.
This project collects data to determine how weather conditions affect flight pattern behavior for the Common Whitetail dragonfly. The students will have the ability to utilize real-world field equipment to monitor the weather and record flight pattern behaviors to collect data for the project.
